New challenges in Plant Pathology between sustainable crop production and climate change
Dear Colleagues,
we are pleased to announce that the XXIX Congress of the Italian Phytopathological Society (SIPaV) entitled "New challenges in Plant Pathology between sustainable crop production and climate change", will be held in Trento from 9th to 11th September 2024.
The event will be hosted by the Center Agriculture Food Environment (C3A) - University of Trento. The program will start with a talk focusing on climate change and its impact on meteorology. The following sessions will host the presentations of three prestigious international speakers in different fields of Plant Pathology. Numerous awards will be offered by the SIPaV including: the "Giovanni Scaramuzzi 2024” Award for the best Ph.D. thesis in Plant Pathology, "Best Poster Awards" to three selected posters. SIPaV will also cover the Conference registration fees to 20 distinct young researchers in training. Details for the participation to the selection of SIPAV fellowships for 20 distinct young researchers in training will be communicated in the second circular.
The SIPaV Members' Assembly will be held on Tuesday 10th September, preceding the social dinner.
