The XXVIII Congress of the Italian Phytopathological Society (SIPaV) - "Innovations and research in plant pathology to support the ecological transition", will be held in Naples from September 18th to 20th 2023.
We hope that this conference will provide us with new opportunities for discussion and collaboration on important research topics concerning the plant pathology sector. The event will be hosted by the University of Naples Federico II, Departments of Agricultural Sciences, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production. The program will include the presentations of prestigious international speakers, and novel research in different fields of plant pathology. Numerous awards will be offered by the SIPaV including: the "SIPaV Giovanni Scaramuzzi" 2023 Award for the best Ph.D. thesis in Plant Pathology, "Best Poster Awards" to three selected posters; bursaries to 20 distinct young researchers in training to cover the Conference registration fees.
The Assembly of SIPaV Members will be held on Tuesday 19th September, preceding the social dinner.
